Fifteen years post series. Justin lives in New York with his son Bryson. Brian still lives in Pittsburgh and is extremely close to Gus. Brian and Justin haven't spoken to one another in eighteen years. Although time changes many things in life there are some things time can never change. Are fate and time ready to play their part in reviving history and creating a rewritten future or will  history simply repeat itself? Ready or not, whatever may happen, the time has come.

Post 5-13. The story chronicles Gus's long-distance relationship with Brian, his struggles with a learning disability, and his coping with a stressful home environment. This story is rated PG-13 because of language and the possible mentioning of drug use and domestic violence in future chapters. First attempt at QAF fanfiction so reviews are very much appreciated.

Justin is a vampire that lives his life killing his kind. He's angry that he was turned when he didn't want to. He killed his sire a long time ago but is still thirsty for revenge. Justin thinks that his real family are a bunch of monster that he has to kill. His kind just thinks there is something oh so wrong with the blond.

Some chapters may be hard to read.  Its not for everyone.

WARNING:Yes, rape, abuse and suicide (no major character death)

My advice to anyone who is or has gone through this traumatic experience...talk to someone and get help.

The twins run away from home and end up at the Grassi house where Blake volunteers, he and Ted have been trying to adopt for several years. Blake brings the boys home and they all try and be a family. The boys were never forthcoming about their background because it’s so painful. Their completely fucked up and frightened so they run away and find Ted and Blake; together they all heal and become a family and in the process they start an alternative school for gay youth.

This story is set immediately after Justin walks out the door in 513. It is fast-paced and goes through their first 6 months apart. Brian struggles with his emotions in a self-destructive way...

*Epilogue Added!!!*

Set in Season 5, After L.A., but before the break up. The time line might be a little twisted. Brian wakes up on the floor of his loft, his last memory of picking up a blond trick under a street light. The last five years of his life are gone.

Although it bears the same name as the Julia Robert's movie, and somewhat the same subject matter… IT'S HARDLY RESEMBLES THE STORY IN ANY OTHER WAY!!!!
