Brian and Justin need a vacation, as fate has it, they go to Japan. This is NOT a fic based on the Earthquake or Tsunami. Takes place roughly 3-4 years after 513, they are living together at Britin.

Moira Williams is the friend of Daphne with whom Justin tells Brian he's going to stay when he moves to NYC. She's less than thrilled that she'll be sharing her small apartment with someone, especially an artist with a moody, unpredictable older boyfriend. But proximity breeds familiarity which in turns breeds affection (that is, if we're lucky). Moira finds herself rooting for a relationship she first believed was (and should be) doomed - the big question is whether cheering Justin and Brian on is enough to keep them together.

The path of sound credence is through the thick forest of skepticism. ~George Jean Nathan ~It all starts when Brian ‘saves’ Justin, but Justin isn’t down a well and Brian isn’t a hero. In fact, they actually sort of hate one another after this but that doesn’t stop them from playing their own games. Neither one of them want a boyfriend but due to unstoppable forces that’s what they’ll become. Not that they’ll admit it. Brian and Justin will reach a point that they’ll have to decide to move forward together or stop ‘whatever they are doing’ and go back to life without one another. You could say that it’s a bit of a challenge.

* Season 4, around 410. Justin is sick and has a project due for school, inspiration comes from Brian, after much complaining from the man.

Summary: AU. Brian Kinney did a lot of stupid things when either drunk, high or both. Those things usually and somewhat surprisingly ended up changing his life in some irrevocable way and affecting it for years afterword. But he never thought that taking Japanese as his required foreign language in college on a drunken dare from his equally drunk/high college roommate would have such far-reaching consequences and would eventually, over a decade later, completely change his life.

SKIDOOOSSH!! A SUPER LATE ENTRY FOR THE SPRING IS IN THE AIR DEALIO!

Inspiration hit late but it hit hard! Been rattling this out since the end of March. Medieval setting and golden nuts and kung fu set the tone for this newest fantasy from my warped brain.

Please excuse the dark tone in the first chapter but there's a neccesary plot device in there. Not to worry, it brightens and Springtime's up faster and just as inappropriately as the now infamous time change in Disney's Bambi.
