I watched QAF UK first but it was quite short. I discover QAF US when it was not on TV anymore and QAF led me to fanfiction. Before the series I didn't even know what fanfiction was. I kind of wanted more of QAF and some aspects of the show left me a bit frustrated and unsatisfied. I love seasons 1-3, however I'm not that impressed by seasons 4 and 5, even if I enjoyed them.
I'm a history geek, I studied it (still am), and I’m teaching it (to pupils I love and hate at the same time). My speciality is Modern History (XVIe –XVIIIe siècle) but I love the Middle Ages too. I’m also fond of Antiquity. So I’m really influenced by those periods. Moreover I'm really interested in India (specially the Mughal empire), the Ottoman Empire, the Han dynasty, Al-Andalus, Byzantium, etc.
I love reading, I like fantasy, and of course dusty historical books. I enjoy riding even if I don’t have the time anymore. I’m trying to learn piano, but strangely my family and my friends don’t want to be around when I’m playing (Something about their ears bleeding…). I’m also a (French) proof-reader/examiner and a writer in my spare time.
I love historical fics but they are not many out there. So I was dying for one, which led me to write one myself, the King’s will, my first fanfiction. I had this story for so long in my head, every aspect, character, etc. Since English is not my first language I was kind of scared to share it. Now it’s done and I’m enjoying writing it.
Thanks to fanfiction Brian and Justin are immortals.
